Remake Learning Day at WHEC

Wyomissing Hills Elementary School proudly hosted a Remake Learning Day event on May 21, offering students and the community a chance to explore innovative educational activities. Remake Learning Day is a celebration of creative and engaging learning experiences, encouraging students to think outside the box and embrace new ways of learning.
The event featured a variety of interactive stations, workshops, and demonstrations designed to spark curiosity and inspire a love of learning. Highlights included visits from GoggleWorks, a beekeeper, Rock Hollow Woods, South Mountain YMCA, Berks County Parks and Recreation, Spring Township Parks and Recreation, Girl and Boy Scouts, the Wyomissing Library, WAEF, the PTA, and more.
Parents, families, and community members were invited to join the fun, with many expressing their excitement at seeing the students so engaged and enthusiastic. "It's wonderful to see the kids learning in such a hands-on way," said one parent. "Events like this really bring the community together and show how much fun learning can be."
Teachers at WHEC played a key role in organizing the event, with many dedicating their time and expertise to ensure a successful day. Local businesses and organizations also contributed to the success of Remake Learning Day, providing resources, volunteers, and expertise. Their support helped make the event a memorable experience for everyone involved. Remake Learning Day was a resounding success, leaving students, parents, and teachers eager for more.
